Surgery:
1. AC power connection (Make sure the voltage is correct.)
2. Connect the PH and ORP electrode into the input terminal socket respectively.
3. Remove the protective cap and observe if the electrodes are clean and complete (note: do not touch the electrodes with your hands).
4. After cleaning the electrodes with distilled water or alcohol, dry the water on the plastic case and shake the small droplets on the electrodes, insert the device into the solution under test so that the electrodes measurement are immersed in the solution tested, and the immersion depth of the electrodes must not exceed the length of the electrodes.
5. Place the electrodes in the measured solution to be tested.
6. Gently shake the device so that small bubbles on the electrodes leave the electrodes and read a stable display number when the value is stable.
7. After use, turn off the power supply, clean the electrodes with clean water and put on a protective cap.
8. It should be used for a long time, and the device and electrode should be fixed.
Calibration：
Calibration pH:
A. In pH6.86 Calibration solution
1. Connect AC power. Immerse the ph electrode in a pH6.86 buffer solution and shake it gently until the reading stabilizes.
2. Long press [b], until the “pH” indicator flashes. PH6.86 is displayed on the first line.
3. (1) Short press [a] to exit current mode if ph6.86 calibration is not performed. Then the device returns to measuring mode.
(2) Short press [c] to complete the pH 6.86 calibration when the second line reading is stable if the pH6.86 calibration is performed. The device then automatically returns to measuring mode.
4. The pH6.86 calibration is complete.
B. In pH4.00 Calibration solution
1. Connect the AC power. Immerse the ph electrode in a pH 4.00 buffer solution and shake it gently until the reading stabilizes.
2. Long press [e], until the “pH” indicator flashes. pH 4.00 is displayed on the first line.
3. (1) Short press [a] to exit current mode if pH 4.00 calibration is not performed. Then the device returns to measuring mode.
(2) Short press [c] to complete the pH 4.00 calibration when the second line reading is stable if the ph4.00 calibration is performed. The device then automatically returns to measuring mode.
4. The pH 4.00 calibration is complete.
ORP calibration:
This meter has been precisely precalibrated for mV range at the factory. And there is no need for users to calibrate.

Note for PH-803W :
1. The electrode must be calibrated with a standard buffer solution with known ORP value before measurement.
2. The electrode socket must be highly marked and dry.
3. Before and after the measurement, the electrode should be cleaned with deionized water to ensure the measurement accuracy.
4. The electrode will be passivated after long-term use. The phenomenon is that the sensitivity gradient decreases, the response becomes slow, and the reading is inaccurate. At this time, the platinum sheet at the bottom of the electrode can be soaked in 0.1M dilute hydrochloric acid for 24 hours, and then use 3Mkcl solution. Soak in medium for several hours to restore performance.
5. Electrode contamination or blockage of the liquid junction will also passivate the electrode. At this time, it should be cleaned with an appropriate solution according to the nature of the pollutant. See below (for reference) for details.
